Something that means the most to me

There is this necklace that I received two years ago from my grandmother. Looking at it now, I realize how much it really does mean to me. My grandmother received it from her mother who received it from her mother. My mother never got it, it skipped her and went right to me. It’s so old and yet so beautiful. It shows me that beauty is the same regardless of how old those who own it are. I look at this necklace and picture all the woman in my family wearing it and feeling beautiful in it, and remember that everytime I wear it I feel the same. On top of feeling that beauty, I also feel special knowing that it was given to me after so many people got to own it.
